Program Coordinator Job Purpose:
Provides business administrative duties to ensure programs and office processes run smoothly and efficiently. Manages athlete documentation, daily activities, and program related functions. This position coordinates program volunteers and assists with fundraiser events. This position will also help grow our connection within the hispanic community through print materials, social media resources and media outlets such as news, radio and print.

- Assists families with program information and registration.
- Manages and maintains program registrations and ongoing development of programs, including adding new programs
- Build a healthy and ongoing relationship with the hispanic community in Bakersfield and surrounding areas
- Grows the number of athletes participating in programs, specifically athletes from the hispanic community
- Ensures phones and general emails are answered in a timely manner.
- Tracks all payments and donations made to the organization and mails donation receipts/ thank you cards in a timely manner.
- Manages, coordinates, and trains all volunteers including team moms and coaches for seasons.
- Manages documentation of diagnosis confirmation for all athletes.
- Communicates with families and volunteers on program and event information through Madmimi, social media and additional emails or calls.
- Schedules facilities for programs.
- Manages all awards, ordering and documentation of awards given
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail related to programming
- Represents organization at vendor fairs and events as necessary
- Manages equipment and uniform inventories, including ordering and quality control
- Keeps the office clean and organized to promote an efficient working environment.
- Manages program admin page on website (entering seasons and important dates).
- Regularly check website for updates and modifications
- Coordinates program schedules.
- Manages program tryouts for placement.
- Assists in program sponsorship acquisition.
- Works with the Executive Director to develop programs and partnerships, as well as marketing and grant acquisitioning
- Assists Executive Director at all fundraiser events (WWS, Gala, Breakfast with Santa).
- Represents League of Dreams at all program events (games, performances).
- Manages own timesheets and mileage logs, and submits them to the Executive Director biweekly.
- Weekends are required.
- Some nights are required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc. This position will also help grow our connection within the ommunity through community events, print materials, social media resources and media outlets such as news, radio and print.

- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Maintain the filing system
